“The Great Escape” a 4 bed/2bath home in Village of Stump Sound
This Oceanfront 4 bedroom 2.5 bath in the sought after Village of Stump sound will have you in awe with it’s panoramic views of the ocean. The Village of Stump Sound offers a pool, tennis courts, boat ramp, day dock for launching kayaks and paddle boards.
The Great Escape has it’s own beach access now, yes you heard me, walk right over to the beach from the house.
On the top level you will find a fully stocked kitchen that will make cooking and entertaining easy and fun. This level you will be able to enjoy your views from within the home or on the larges decks. The sofas are comfy and there is plenty of dining area for everyone in your party.
All four bedrooms can be found on the same floor, which is rare these days. 3 of the four rooms have access to the oceanfront deck. The King suite has its own bathroom and sliders out to the deck. The queen room has access to the shared bath, within the room. The other two beds have pyramid type bunks that can easily sleep 3. On this level you will also find a washer and dryer.
Like to bike, this area is very private and you can get out and safely bike the neighborhood.

Payment Schedule – 50% due at the time of booking and 50% due 30 days prior to arrival.
Damage Deposit – A pre-authorization of $500 is due 2 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Cancellation Policy –Guest receives 97% if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 47% if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
We love communicating with our guests. To ensure nothing is missed or lost in translation, we are available via email or text. At time of booking, you will be required to read and sign a short-term rental agreement, provide a security deposit and provide a copy of a government issued ID for guest booking reservation. Once check out is complete, no damage is confirmed and it appears all house rules and check out procedures have been adhered to, your security deposit hold will be released. Please note that this may take up to 7 business days.
Due to same day arrival and departures, regretfully, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We ask that you do not interrupt the cleaning crew as this will only delay your check-in. The cleaning crew is not authorized to allow anyone access to the property. 1. Dogs allowed with pet fee.
2. The property is surveilled. Any tampering with/moving/redirecting/covering/disconnecting WiFi or devices or outdoor cameras or doorbells will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and you will be required to leave and vacate the premises immediately. Please understand that we do not sit and watch the cameras, but this is our home and investment, and we have these measures in place to protect our home and us. We want to ensure rules are being followed. There are no cameras in any private areas that guests have use of inside the home. There are a few closets in the home that are locked and not available for guests use as they are storage areas. Do not attempt to break in or unlock these doors as the inside area of these locked storage areas have surveillance. Please note by booking this property you waive your option to disable surveillance.
3. No smoking inside, please use the ash tray out back if smoking. Cigarette butts in the yard will incur extra cleaning fees that will be withheld from your deposit.
4. Guests staying longer than 1 week can request housekeeping services at an additional cost to provide clean linens and towels and clean living areas. Please contact the host for information on additional cost if housekeeping services are wanted.
5. Parties are not allowed as this home is in a quiet neighborhood.
6. For insurance and safety purposes, all guests must be listed and accounted for on your reservation/itinerary. No more than 8 guests may stay at any time.
7. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance when booking our home. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, weather, illness, emergencies etc, which could cause you to need to cancel your trip or end it prematurely. If you choose not to obtain travel insurance, please know that we will abide by our cancellation policy and no refunds will be provided should you decline to protect your travel. If you book this unit, that action constitutes agreement with this policy. Under no circumstances will guest receive a reduction in rent, be relocated at owner’s expense or be refunded for any equipment or amenity failure. Property manager/owner, upon being notified by guest of any malfunction will make every reasonable effort to have such appliances/amenities repaired. Replacement or repair during occupancy cannot be guaranteed. Issues must be reported to owner within 24 hours of arrival.
