Welcome to Sunset and Sea, where you can watch the sunrise and the sunset all from a deck. This newly listed home, will have you making memories the moment you check in. There is not one detail that is missed in this home.
The top floor is painted a happy yet peaceful bright blue welcoming the sea and sky into the home. The gracious living room offers a comfortable reclining couch and 2 love seats. The perfect spot for good conversation, curling up to finally finish a book or simply catching a show or movie on TV. With access onto the top floor deck, you can truly welcome the outside in. The dining room has a table that seats 8 and a kitchen bar counter with 3 additional chairs. You’ll be able to make some wonderful family meals in the well-equipped kitchen or take the elevator to the ground floor to greet the pizza delivery person. There is a full bathroom on this floor with a bathtub/ shower. The “kids” bedroom is on the top floor with 2 sets of twin bunk beds.
The second floor houses the Master bedroom as well as the other 2 guest bedrooms. The Master has a king size bed, ensuite bathroom with step in shower, a Keurig coffee maker with a mini fridge and private access onto the Ocean facing lower deck. In the hallway you’ll find a stacked washer and dryer and another full bathroom with a bathtub/ shower. The 2 guest bedrooms both have queen beds and access to the covered lower deck which faces the Intercoastal. All bedrooms have TVs.
Located on a 2 lane road, it is just a quick stroll across the street and down a short residential road to the beach crossover. You will be laying out your towel and setting up your umbrella in no time. This home is new construction as of 2022. The elevator starts in the carport and stops on each floor. Also in the carport is an enclosed shower to help with keeping sand from being tracked in.
We know your time away isn’t much of a vacation without your best furry friend there to enjoy it! This home allows 1 small/ medium dog, 50 pounds or less with a non-refundable $120.00 pet fee. 1 dog limit.
A 7-minute drive to the center of Surf City is where you’ll find fun activities like the Topsail Escape Room and the EMA Touch Tank Aquarium. On the mainland side of Surf City is the well-known Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rehabilitation Center which gives daily tours, as well as many more gift shops and 3 grocery stores. Just over the high-rise bridge that connects N. Topsail Beach to Sneads Ferry you will find even more shops and restaurants as well as the closest grocery store (Food Lion, 6.2 miles).

Topsail Island is a 28-mile-long barrier island made up of marshes, estuaries, dunes, and shoreline. Sandwiched between the Atlantic Ocean and the Intercoastal Waterway, Tops’l as the locals call it is home to several fishing piers including the Seaview Fishing Pier; 875 feet of planks were used to construct this pier which is the longest pier on the North Carolina coast. Privately owned shops, restaurants and attractions abound on Topsail as well as the neighboring mainland towns. Learn the history of Topsail at the Missiles and More Museum and understand how to be a good steward to the sea at the Touch Tank Aquarium in Surf City and the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center. Laid back and family friendly. Topsail Island is everything you could ask for in an Island get away.
As an added touch, and unique to Sol Searching Properties, you will find for your convenience, “starter” items. Please keep in mind these are meant to start your vacation, not supply your whole stay. These items include

A separate security deposit for $400 and renters agreement will run through Ownerez after booking. This is a requirement to keep the booking.
Renter making the booking must be at least 25 years old and provide proper identification along with renter agreement. With credit card matching name on license.

Payment Schedule – 50% due at the time of booking and 50% due 30 days prior to arrival.
Damage Deposit – A pre-authorization of $500 is due 2 days before arrival and released 7 days after departure.
Cancellation Policy –Guest receives 97% if cancellation occurs more than 60 days before arrival; Guest receives 47% if cancellation occurs more than 30 days before arrival; No refunds within 30 days of arrival.
We love communicating with our guests. To ensure nothing is missed or lost in translation, we be via email or text. At time of booking, you will be required to read and sign a short-term rental agreement, provide a security deposit and provide a copy of a government issued ID for guest booking reservation. Once check out is complete, no damage is confirmed and it appears all house rules and check out procedures have been adhered to, your security deposit hold will be released. Please note that this may take up to 7 business days.
Due to same day arrival and departures, regretfully, we are unable to accommodate early check-in or late check-out requests. We ask that you do not interrupt the cleaning crew as this will only delay your check-in. The cleaning crew is not authorized to allow anyone access to the property. Should you arrive to town early, there is plenty to do and see! See our digital guidebook for ideas.

2. The property is surveilled. Any tampering with/moving/redirecting/covering/disconnecting WiFi or devices or outdoor cameras or doorbells will result in immediate cancellation of your reservation and you will be required to leave and vacate the premises immediately. Please understand that we do not sit and watch the cameras, but this is our home and investment, and we have these measures in place to protect our home and us. We want to ensure rules are being followed. There are no cameras in any private areas that guests have use of inside the home. There are a few closets in the home that are locked and not available for guests use as they are storage areas. Do not attempt to break in or unlock these doors as the inside area of these locked storage areas have surveillance. Please note by booking this property you waive your option to disable surveillance.
3. No smoking inside, please use the ash tray out back if smoking. Cigarette butts in the yard will incur extra cleaning fees that will be withheld from your deposit.
4. Guests staying longer than 1 week can request housekeeping services at an additional cost to provide clean linens and towels and clean living areas. Please contact the host for information on additional cost if housekeeping services are wanted.
5. Parties are not allowed as this home is in a quiet neighborhood.
6. For insurance and safety purposes, all guests must be listed and accounted for on your reservation/itinerary. No more than 8 guests may stay at any time.
7. It is strongly recommended that you purchase travel insurance when booking our home. Sometimes unforeseen circumstances arise, weather, illness, emergencies etc, which could cause you to need to cancel your trip or end it prematurely. If you choose not to obtain travel insurance, please know that we will abide by our cancellation policy and no refunds will be provided should you decline to protect your travel. If you book this unit, that action constitutes agreement with this policy. Under no circumstances will guest receive a reduction in rent, be relocated at owner’s expense or be refunded for any equipment or amenity failure. Property manager/owner, upon being notified by guest of any malfunction will make every reasonable effort to have such appliances/amenities repaired. Replacement or repair during occupancy cannot be guaranteed. Issues must be reported to owner within 24 hours of arrival.
